The Month of May has arrived and there are so many things happening this month – it’s one of my favorite months of the year!
So the weather is getting great all over the United States. Spring is in full bloom with flowers everywhere – if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see my posts of blooming buds every day!
Here are a couple of my favorites.

May is the month of my Dad’s birthday – Happy Birthday, Dad! Love you!
Cinco de Mayo is May 5th, literally!
So get out the tequila and let’s make margaritas!
Here is my receipt for making the perfect Margarita.
1 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
.5 oz Agave nectar
1 oz Grand Marnier
You can also use Cointreau, triple sec or another orange liqueur
1.5 oz Blanco (White) tequila
Yes, you can use a gold/yellow Tequila, I prefer white
Put all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake
Rim Rocks glass with Kosher Salt (adding salt is optional) and fill will clean ice.
Strain Shaken Margarita over ice and garnished with a slice of line.

At the end of the month, we will be celebrating Memorial Day, the official start of the summer season. I and a few friends will be kicking off the summer season with The San Jose Color Run
